Easter 2014

I somehow managed to skip over Easter pictures so here is the recap...
Grandma always puts together such cute holiday packages for all of us.
Coloring Eggs
Easter crafts

Easter Mantle and Spring Kindergarten outfit (Sadie and Emmy loathe wearing this jacket! I must have bribed her with something good for her to wear it for me)
For the Easter weekend, we went to Utah to have some cousin time.
 Easter Egg hunt in Logan
 Sadie and Corbin palling around!
Don't let Bree and Jaylee fool you with this sweet picture. They had some nice moments though that we will just stay focused on.
I went on a nice long run up to the Logan temple and around the UofU campus. Everything was starting to bloom and it was fun for me to explore a new city on foot.
Easter morning could take as long as it needed to since we didn't have church until 1pm. The Easter bunny decided to bring swimsuits and flip flops and the girls were WAY excited about that. They did appreciate the candy too!
When Emmy saw her swimsuit she said, "Yay, I got a Halloween swimsuit!"
These girls have got posing down to a fine art!
 Easter pictures!
Emmy was in love with the chicks and Sadie wanted nothing to do with them after one pooped on her arm.
Everytime Bree got near the chicks she got overly excited and wanted to squeeze them until they popped so to save the little chicks lives, Bree had to do pictures minus chicks.

St. Patty's day

The girls were all dressed up in green for St. Patty's days so why not do a little photoshoot!
Brian must have brought home cupcakes for the girls because I don't remember where these yummy green cupcakes came from.
We had a delicious traditional Irish dinner of corned beef at our friends house that night.

Disneyland

We spent four days at Disneyland/California Adventure and Brian is dying for some pictures up on this blog... here are a few that we pulled off of the professional site where the employees around the park took pictures...some nice low resolution pics to hold him over until I get the zillion I have edited.

Venice Beach

Brian and I have so many pictures like this! We just need to find them all and make a little collage. I was doing a lot of searching online as to what beaches would be fun to go to and this was ranked high for the boardwalk. Therefore I didn't pack the girls swimsuits and it pretty much killed them that they were not jumping waves and rolling in the sand. Emmy did seem to still get soaking wet though.
We decided tandem bikes would be a good way to explore. It was so nice not having to worry about where the girls where since they were smack dab behind us. We cruised along Venice and Muscle Beach and saw a lot of shall we say...colorful people selling such things as medical marijuana and a lot of art and over priced clothes.
Yelp said Poke Poke was a good place to eat and again I saw a line and figured it must be good. Well I have never had a salad made of kale, nor so much raw fish in my life. It is kind of strange because since this experience I just can't get enough kale and would rather have a kale salad as opposed to a spinach one so I was happy with this lunch. Check out my girls expression below. I really should have gotten a picture of Brian... he was dying!
We decided to go and explore the hills of Beverly Hills and saw some amazing homes and even better views!
