Bear Lake August 2013

Bear Lake has got to be one of the best little vacations our family can take! The girls get to play in the sand and the water is not only warm, but a gorgeous tropical blue. It's also shallow for quite a ways. We seem to make it down every other year. Be prepared for a picture dump!
I'm just dying over how tiny Bree is in all of these pictures! Wow has she changed in a year!
It was so great that the girls had their cousins to play with for one of the days of our trip! They obviously adore them!

We rented a boat and a jet ski for a few hours one day and then Brian's brother brought a boat up another day, so we got two great days of boating in. Some day we may just have to make a big boat purchase. We all loved it.
Someday we've got to make it back to this park with the boardwalk and cool long grass for family pictures.
It's always a good time seeing how many shakes we can inhale in our trip!
This is our 2nd or 3rd time renting a condo at this Lighthouse place. It is just the right size for our family and even if we have spent all day at the lake my girls still want to come back and swim.
One of the nights I got to take Sadie on a date to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Pickleville Playhouse. There was a fair going on in town so she had some feathers put in her hair afterwards. I love having some one-on-one time with each of my girls. Sadie has got such a fun, outgoing personality.
Until next time Bear Lake! We Heart You!

Bear Lake

After Shoshone Falls we drove to Bear Lake for a couple days of fun in the sun! We spent a little time at the lake because it was pretty windy and lots of time at the pool. Sadie obviously had more fun in the sand than in the water.
Emmy spent most of the time in her car seat protected from the wind.
Brian was in charge of the feast... a burger, hotdog and Boca burger. For dessert we had s’mores...Caramellow s’mores to be precise.
This is a Stewart inside joke, but I will share... Brian, his Mom, and we found out Sadie too stick their tongue out when they are concentrating hard. Who knew something like that could be hereditary!!!
This picture goes to show that I am a really mean Mom!
We stayed at Harbor Village and it was on my bucket list of things to do places to stay.
We found this cute little frozen yogurt/cupcake place.
We had a dang good trip.
