Lucky Girl
I made this sweetie a Halloween tutu and headband today. I am just lovin’ these rosette flower thingamabobs! Poor girl is getting her eighth tooth coming in so we have been dealing with a fever and diaper rash. Life is not easy when you are this cute!

Worked Over
We (it was a joint effort involving Brian and I) took some pictures of Sadie on Saturday and man did she work us over. That girl just does not smile on command. Yes she is two years old, but c'mon. We were stuffing her full of gummy bears, she had two balloons and we were letting her run around and play and still she would only give us a couple of half smiles! (click here to see more)

At the Heise Pool
This last Saturday we headed up to the Heise Pool. It was everyone’s first time to the pool except for Brian. The natural hot spring was so relaxing minus all the stinkin’ bugs floating in the water. We took Sadie down the waterslide twice and I think it gave her nightmares because 3am that next morning she was by the side of my bed needing some comfort. Emmy and Sadie are fearless in the water though. Sadie’s favorite thing to do is stand by the side of the pool and jump in... even if you aren’t looking. She body slammed Brian one time because he didn’t know she was going to jump in. Poor thing (Sadie...not Brian. Brian is seriously way tough). It was a fun day and we wore the children out. Mission accomplished!
After seeing pictures of me in my ugly swimsuit I decided it was pretty lame and Lime Ricki was having a Labor Day sale so I bought this dang cute new swimsuit! Happy end of the summer to me!
Isn’t he graceful?! We will just call him Spider Bri (like Spiderman...I thought I was clever) from now on!

Our Handy Man!
My hotty of a husband has been super busy doing projects around the house! While the girls and I were in Utah for a week playing, he was hard at work finishing the cabinets in our laundry room. I would call him each night before I went to bed and he would tell me he was tired and would head to bed soon, but little did I know that he was staying up until 3 and 4am each night busting these cabinets out! It was the best surprise ever when we got home.
This is my birthday present #1. Two of my friends have these shelves that I just loved and so I took a picture of it, handed it to Brian, and few days later here it is on my wall looking awesome! He never ceases to amaze me!
This is my present #2, but it is really a work in progress. Brian did an awesome job getting the bead board up, but I am in desperate need of some paint on the wall, some curtains and decor for the shelf. I am the worst artist on the face of the earth but here is a little sketch of what I think I may want to do.
Come to think of it these may give you a better idea than my terrible drawing...
These are the curtains I want with a gather on the bottom...
Thanks for being so motivated Brian and cranking out some pretty sweet things for our home!
