The night before Sadie and I stayed up way too late making fruit bouquets. We both were starting to get skin irritations from the constant juice on our hands, but the final results made it all worth it :)
That morning I skipped the gym (because we were up waaaaaaay too late and) because I wanted to see the girls reactions to everything and it was so worth it. Especially Rosie was pulling everything out of the bag from Papa and Grandma and oooing and aaaaing over everything.
Emmy's teacher is so great about sending pictures of the school events! Emmy and Sadie both were suppose to dress up for a Valentine's dance. The PE instructor taught the kids a few different styles of dance and they both said they liked that part of the day. Sadie was waaaaay disappointed in the "party" though. She said all they did was watch two short movies.
Rosie went to three different Valentine parties. She had a joyschool, preschool and a neighbor party. She was nicest enough to share all of her chocolate with me since she hates chocolate. She will make an exception for chocolate milk though.
This is Rosie's best buddy named Avery. She lives across the street and has honestly taught Rosie how to be a loving friend. Poor Avery has had to go through a lot of learning and social development with Rosie over this last year. Luckily I think Rosie has grown out of the hitting and hair pulling stage because that is how she used to deal with any conflict with Avery.
Sadie decided to make a new Valentine's Day box, even though her old one was still very cute.Brian came home from work with his present for me and the girls~ He dressed himself up with my favorite.....Big Hunk candy bars! And balloons and chocolates for the girls.
That night we went to Cherry Peak for a dinner and concert. I was shooting pictures so it was a work event but every shoot I do for Cherry is fun for me so I was happy to be doing it. The singer Mattie Smith sang some musical numbers like "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair" and a song from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She sure can sing!
We got to hang out with friends, Kara and Andrew, from our ward since I do all of my Cherry Peak shoot with Andrew.
