Happy Fathers Day!

Brian rocks it at being a Dad to these four girls! They all feel so loved and he is so good at dealing with all of theirs (and my) crazy moments! What can I say....I pick em' good!
Emmy thought her Dad needed a rainbow toga and Brian wore it for the next hour!
We bought Brian a new meat slicer so he could make us delicious Korean beef!
Somehow I never posted last years Father Day pictures....(probably because I had a 5 day old newborn) so here is a blast from the past!
Even though this picture is blurry, I LOVE Emmy's expression :) Just melts my heart!
And a few pictures of my awesome Dad! I reallllly want to get our family videos transferred to DVD so I can show my kids videos from growing up! I love looking at old pictures and videos.

Father's Day

These lucky girls have such a doting Father. He just longs to be with them and truly misses them when he is gone. I love that Sadie is sad that she can't marry Daddy because he is taken. We told her we'd help her find someone just like Daddy and that seemed to ease her worries!

#1 Dad

Brian has got to be the cutest Dad around. The girls always choose for Brian to put them down at night and after he put them down tonight he went and typed up some of the stories he's been telling them. He told me that he wanted to work on the details of them and record it for the girls. I sure do love this man!

We celebrated what an awesome Brian is on Father's Day...and the girls were super excited to give him the book they made. It had pictures of them with Brian, hand prints, and some things they wrote.
We made Brian a yummy breakfast, but it didn't compare to what was for dinner.
Brian made us all amazing pastrami hamburgers (I know lame that I didn't make dinner, but I think he was having fun making his creation). This picture is making my mouth water! Brian is such a good cook and these burgers turned out delicious!

June in a Nutshell

It's been a busy few months and that is what makes summer so fun right?!? So many great outdoor activities. Here are a few things we've been up to...

Utah - Brian's uncle got married and so the girls and I went early and spent a week with my family and then Brian came down with his parents and we met up for the wedding and some weekend fun...
It is pretty obvious that Sadie ADORES her cousin Kaya!!!We went to "This Is the Place" monument for a party for all of the people that had been to Dr. Heiner in SLC for infertility stuff. The girls loved the horse back rides and petting zoo!
Brian and I got to go on a fun date to our favorite resteraunt The Bombay House and then to the Riverbottoms in Orem to walk around. We ended up at the Riverbottoms four times while we were in Utah. Kinda love that place and all the changes they have done to the place recently!

Sadie threw so many fits wanting to go back to the store with little shopping carts. Lisa and I ate at the best pizza place I have ever been to. Can't remember the name right now...sorry later that night my Dad and I went to my Mom's MoTab performance.
My sis Katie and I had some fun outings including going out to eat with four crazy kids, then to a boutique and then to a yummy bakery!
Basketball - Brian has been playing on a city league and they have games once a week. Sadie and I made it to one game to cheer Brian on and right as we got there Brian dove across the gym to save a ball and got this nasty floor burn.
Birthday - I had a wonderful birthday full of celebrating, yummy food and great company!
Races - Brian and I ran the MAD 10K back in May and I did Bone to Back with a fun group of ladies from my ward. Just if you are wondering, this Samoan dude is from Biggest Loser (which I have never watched but still felt I needed a picture with him :).
Father's Day - Brian is such a great Dad. I felt bad that he was sick on his big day and had to stay home from church. I sang a Father's Day song with the choir especially for Brian, but since he missed it I had to do a solo for him when I got home.
Carnival - It was just a random carnival a few minutes from our house, but Sadie LOVED it! Emmy not so much.I went a little pic. crazy this day!

Babies - My BFF had the cutest baby and I got to take his pics and visit them in the hospital. I have been crazy busy taking pictures of babies this month. I love newborn sessions!

Hands Down...

The day before my birthday we went to Taste of Idaho. There were twenty restaurants at Snake Rivers Landing and we got to sample them all. Brian and I were there really early and got to hit a lot of the places before the crowds got there which is the way to do it. Then we took a much needed break because we were both SO FULL and picked up Sadie and went back with tupperware for the last few places. We were eating leftovers for two days!

I had a really great birthday. We went to Red Robin's to celebrate and not only did I get a free dessert, but also a free chicken ciabatta burger that was delicious. Sadie is over her happy infatuation with restaurants so we may just be getting a lot of take out from now on :)

Sadie made Brian a really nice card for Father's Day. We probably should have practiced the hand prints a few time before we tried on the actual card, but Brian didn't seem to mind the smears.

Happy Father's Day

You've been such a great Dad to Sadie and we both really appreciate you! Hope you have a great day on your first "official" Father's Day!

Father's Day Comes Once a Year

now it's here, now it's here...bringing lots of joy and cheer...lalalalala

Have you ever heard that lovely tune? I changed the words a little, but at least I know my brothers and sisters have heard it.

We celebrated Father's Day a little early this year due to the Internet and credit card statements being available at the click of a button. (This makes surprises hard to do!) This last Wednesday I told Brian that the photography blog I am reading said I needed to take pictures everyday to improve my skills. I said that he was going to be my subject and he was going to fold the three loads of laundry while I tried some new features on my camera (pretty slick move on my part and the clothes were folded in the process).

Underneath this load of laundry was a pretty fun surprise!

I don't think he will ever say no to chores again!
