Is there such thing....

...as a 4-peat? Well Brian's team did it tonight! They won the Skyline Alumni Tournament for the fourth year in a row. I don't usually post things this fast, and I am about two months behind on this blog, but here you go. I am just so proud of Brian that he is getting a special post. The last game was close and of course Emmy had to go to the bathroom with about 40 seconds left (kills me the timing of that girl) but they pulled it off and got another cool t-shirt and bragging rights!

Sadie and Emmy discovered one of Brian's teammates daughters, Olivia, and just thought she was the bees knees! I kept telling them her name was Olivia but they would only refer to her as "my friend". Luckily there was this "gingerbread house" that kept the girls busy, busy, busy!

Skyline Alumni Tournament Three-Peat

The day after Christmas was the annual Skyline Alumni Tournament and here they are once again...THE VICTORS! It is a fun activities for the guys to look forward and it was extra special this year because Brian’s brother was playing too.

Sadie and Emmy always get a little confused to who their Daddy is whenever Devin comes to visit. It’s pretty funny.

Skyline Champs!

Monday Dec 27th was the Skyline Alumni Tournament. This was Brian’s second year doing this and once again they were the champions! It is kinda fun to go see all the people Brian played with in HS and luckily there are a lot of cool woman in the crowds for me to chat with. Brian did the 3 point contest this year and did really well in that too! We are proud of you Bri!

I almost forgot...Sadie kept cheering for Brian’s team by yelling, “GO JAZZ!” It was hilarious!

 

Skyline Alumni Tournament

Ever since moving to Idaho (about five years ago), Brian has gotten call after call about playing in the Skyline Alumni tournament in December. Usually we have been down in Utah or Brian just is indifferent about playing, but not this year. He was really excited about getting back in that old gym and showing off his basketball skills. The first game was really close and Brian made two three pointers in the second half to put his team ahead. They won all four games and two of them were nail bitters (which always makes it more fun)! It was a long day for everyone involved and Sadie was so grateful when everything was over she just rolled and rolled all over center court! This was the first time his graduating year had won the tournament so it was cool for Brian to be apart of! Starting this Thursday Brian is going to be running the Stake Basketball program and playing on one of our wards three teams so don’t be surprised to see a few more basketball posts in the future!
