Day Break

This past week I visited my sister, Katie, down in Utah. We played with babies, fed the ducks and reminisced about Oregon and college days. Katie and I lived in the same apartment complex at BYU and were actually roommates for a semester so we got to know a lot of the same people. I love having my family so close (I guess three-four hours is pretty close).

Sadie slept the whole ride down and most of the ride back so that made traveling a breeze! While I was there I ate at Rumbi's and Kneaders. We really need more of a food selection in Idaho Falls! On the drive back Sadie and I had to go to a boutique called "Oh Sweet Sadie." There were so many fun overpriced baby items! I got a lot of great ideas to copy, so thank you creative Utah woman for displaying all of the crafts you work so hard on!

Sunday Dresses

Thanks to Sadie's Grandmas she seems to have a new dress to wear each Sunday! Here are the dresses she wore the last two weeks. Sadie is getting really good at standing. If it were up to her, she would bypass the crawling stage all together!

Brian's Latest Find On YouTube

This always cheers Brian up even after the disappointing loss this weekend...

Copying is said to be a form of flattery, so I am hoping my cute friend Kristen Tutt takes it that way. She is such a talented photographer/digital scrapbooker that when I saw her four generation page I just had to copy it. (I really hope it is okay) Here is Brian with his Mom, Susan, and her mom, Betty, and of course Sadie!

Sweet Feet!

We can't get enough of Sadie's feet! The way she spreads her little toes apart and the way her little foot curls is too much! We bought Sadie a jumperoo this week and she is not heavy enough to reach the floor. I knew those college textbooks would come in handy one day!

Sadie had her four month check up on Monday and here are her stats: Weight 13 lbs 8 oz (46%), Length 25.5 in (89%) and head circumference 16.7 in (87%). She is our skinny long baby!

Brian came to the appointment to witness Sadie getting her three shots. I almost pulled out the camera to capture the moment, but maybe it is better left forgotten! That poor little girl turned bright red in a matter of seconds. It was a sad sight to see those long needles jabbed into her chubby little thighs, but she calmed down pretty quick and slept most of the remainder of the day. Tuesday night most of the side effects from the shots kicked in and she was not a happy baby. Luckily I had my great friend there to help and hold her because she was requiring a lot of TLC. Oh the life of a baby!

This is a fun tag! Brought back lotsa memories! Brian and I had been dating for about four month when I headed out to BYU-Hawaii to get a well-rounded education :) Right around Feb 12, 2003 (Brian's 23rd birthday) he came out to visit for a week! We had so much fun in Honolulu renting scooters, getting stuck in Haliewa and trying to hitchhike back to Laie and of course going to the Polynesian Cultural Center. I remember it had been raining that day so the usual canoe parade had been moved to the indoor theater and we had to dress a little warmer. That night the was a luau show with the hula and fire dancers. We should have never left the island and came back to reality! Wanna go back Bri?

Rock The Vote

Sorry about the gang sign. We've asked her to stop, but that is just how Sadie rolls.

The Cat's Meow!

Sadie was a black cat for Halloween! She helped her mama pass out candy until she just got a little too tired and had to take a cat nap (I just had to write that). When she woke up we went to visit the grandparents at their spooky abode.

Sadie has got a little message for y'all...
