A Weeks Worth Of Photos

My Mom found a sweet deal on charcoal BBQ's and sent us home with one, so Monday night Brian set it up and we had steak, chicken & veggies. I don't think I ever want to use a regular BBQ again. I love that smoky flavor!

Tuesday night we were eating dinner and all of a sudden Brian hit the table really hard and started saying "Oh Man Oh Man." He had chomped into his tongue really hard. My question is..."Who chews THAT hard?"

Wednesday night we carved pumpkins until 10:30pm (that is late for me :) Sadie slept through it all, but we thought of her with this binky pumpkin. Newsflash...SHE LOVES BINKIES NOW! For the first three months of her life she just hated binkies...then this last month she thought the binky was like a game and would move it around with her tongue. Now she just has to suck something all of the time...so if she isn't wrapped up tight like a burrito she sucks her two fingers and if she's going down for a nap or the night she is a binky baby. hAllEluJaH!

Thursday night we went to a Pumpkin Walk in Shelley with Brian's parents. There just seems to be so many fun things to do for Halloween!

I think Friday deserves a post of it's own...

One year ago this Sat, Nov 1st, was the glorious day that we found out we were pregnant! I had been monitored pretty closely since I was on some heavy duty fertility drugs and I had been getting my blood drawn at the Express Lab across town. My Hcg Quant. was 148 which fell under the 1-3 week range of being pregnant! Pretty cool stuff! So Nov 1st will always be a day to celebrate (it is also my sister Katie's b-day so a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!)

There is No Escaping It...

We are truly Ryan Shupe groupies! Here I am with my nephew Ben aka Zeke. (Sorry Zekes, not sure why I am squeezing your arm so hard!) On Saturday night we crashed a Ryan Shupe concert at the Joseph Smith Building on BYU campus. It was a recruiting type of event for Ernest & Young (Rob, my bro in law works for them). They were handing out these rattlers that lit up so I grabbed a few. They are the perfect baby rattler! We had a fun time. Thanks for inviting us Kate & Rob!

Before the concert we went on the Provo River Halloween Cruise. There were all of these pumpkins lit up along the river and one guy swung from the land to the boat on a zip cord. Everyone thought it was pretty lame, but after seeing this picture of our tour guide on the far right with his bright red eyes maybe there was more to it than we thought!

A Swell Sunday Afternoon

One of the things I really miss about not living close to my family is hanging out on Sunday afternoons. Yesterday my mom and Lisa made a delicious lunch with fish my bro in law caught in Alaska. It was quite the feast.

When I am at home I am pretty good at keeping Sadie on her feeding/napping schedule, but I threw caution to the wind this weekend and played things by ear. I am so not doing that again! I'd much rather anticipate Sadie's hunger level/need for sleep before she actually has to break down and cry for it. So much easier! Instead I kept passing off to my mom when Sadie was tired or hungry. Sorry mom!

Sadie & Caleb did lots of staring, chatting and playing with each others hands.

I am so glad that I've got such a cool older sis' for a role model. She is such a great mom to her three wittle boys.

Here is my brother Nick with his CUTE girlfriend Erica. The whole family absolutely loves her!

Puttin' On the Witch

We went to Gardner Village on Friday afternoon with my sister Lisa and the whole place was decorated for Halloween. There were so many fun little shops, but we only could browse for a little while because there was so much perfume in the air it hurt to breath! We each got a free sample of fudge and then headed back down to Lehi to hang out with the fam.

OoOoO ScArY!

For FHE we went to Dr. Slaughters House of Terror. It was once again a fabulous experience! It is becoming one of our Halloween traditions to go. To kick things off there are a group of kids who dance to Thriller.

Each room of the haunted house is a theme from a scary movie. This year they let Brian and I go through the house by ourselves. All of the characters who jump out and scare people decided I was an easy target. Probably because I am a screamer, so I was chased around a lot. Near the end of the haunted house I collapsed to the floor because I really thought I was going to pee my pants, I was that scared. Pathetic I know!

That night we dropped Sadie off at her grandparents house and she helped them make fresh apple juice. I love her little hoodie. It keeps her bald head nice and warm.

For all of those who may not get the chance to hear what Sadie has to say (all day long), here is a little sample.

And here is a picture I stole off of my friends blog (thanks for taking pics Kimberly!) We went to a Halloween/Birthday party last weekend and dressed up as nerds, except for Sadie who is way too cool for us in her BYU cheerleading outfit! Go Cougars!

This had to go up...

I didn't want to put anything up since Kelly just made a post, but this just may be the funniest thing I have ever seen. Happy Halloween!

Salad is a cargo you could do!

Brian Keeps Us Entertained

After months of searching we finally bought a second car! Hurray! Lets just say I love it! (I am going to let the pictures do the talking on this post!)

Sadie has been so talkative and social lately. Not to mention she is sleeping around 8-10 hours a night, so life is really good :)

I gotta get me one!

Man...look how far we've come!
