In A MMMbop We're Gone

Oh, how I LOVE long weekends! We ventured to Utah to hang out with my family and had a great time eating yummy food and watching movies in the theater room. My sister Katie just had her baby, Caleb Nicholas Bachman, so Brian and I got some hands on newborn experience and lots of playing time with her other boys Issac and Zekie. I love that they are all so close in age. It gives me an idea of what my mother went through having six kids in seven years. (I am still in awe Mom!)

On Memorial Day, Brian and I braved the Orem traffic and went shopping. We bought some baby tights, two BYU onsies, a BYU hat for Brian, and some Korean food ingredients.

Later that night we ate at the new Tucanos restaurant at Gateway in SLC. I much prefer the Provo Tucanos in the Riverbottoms, but the food was just as good. They had a new item on the menu called the bacon covered filet minion. Brian must have ate about ten of those suckers (they are bite size pieces). We both left stuffed to the brim! I have heard lots of rumors that Tucanos is coming to Idaho Falls in Taylors Crossing, which would be just amazing!

Brian had been anticipating seeing the Indiana Jones movie for such a long time so it was great to see the excitement on his face before we went to watch it on Tuesday night. We both thought it was a really fun movie!

He seriously was even more excited though last night when we went to Albertson's and saw a deal to buy 15 Powerade's for ten bucks. When we got home he cleaned out an entire shelf specifically for his purchase. He was in a happy silly mood the rest of the night.

*Build a sweet house with a great view, lot of property, and horses
*Buy season tickets to the Jazz games...that is for Brian
*Travel, Travel, Travel...Korea, Caribbean cruise, Spain, London, NY...the list goes on
*Buy the Disney Corporation (I still couldn't afford it...so maybe I would just buy a lot of stock)

*Ruining my appetite...I like to snack

*I use the word "crap" too much

Notes From the Underbelly

According to my due date I have 34 days left of work...WAHOO!!! I am so excited to stay home and take care of Sadie and just have life revolve around her and Brian.

I have been working full time now for the past four years and I have just been thinking about how this is going to be such a huge lifestyle change! The 8-5 day is beginning to seem a bit tedious especially now that I have an end in site!

Some days when work seems unbearable I daydream about some hobbies I want to work on when I stay home. So here is a rough draft of my list thus far. (PS Thanks Amber for taking fun pregnant pictures of me)

1. Run on the treadmill three to four days a week and run a few 5K's later in the summer. I also want to rent different exercise videos from Netflix to spice up my exercise routine. Maybe some pilate's and dance
workouts (Can you tell that I am ready to lose this extra weight!)
2. Make some crafty projects and use the stamps, decorative paper, and embellishments I have been collecting over the years.
3. Write one article a month for Harris Publishing and take the pictures for the articles.

4. Take lotsa pictures of Sadie and go to photography club on a regular basis.
5. Get really good at using Paintshop and save up to buy Photoshop.
6. Cook dinner every night. Right now I cook dinner maybe twice a week....sorry Brian!
7. Practice the piano and memorize a few hymns.

I realize that all of the mothers who read this are probably going to scoff at my list thinking I am crazy to think I will get anything done other than feeding my baby, cleaning the house, and maybe taking a shower, but I guess that is just something I am going to have to learn for myself when the time comes. For now I can pretend right...

Sadie's Shower

What would I do without such amazing friends? It was so fun to get together with so many friends to celebrate Sadie's pending arrival! Yes, I am pretty sure our little girl's name is going to be Sadie Rose Stewart...it is so much nicer to call her by her name as opposed to just "her" or "the little girl".


I swear Kristy and Cynthia are pretty much professional party planners! Cynthia's house was decorated so cute with baby clothes lining the kitchen and Kristy's name that baby tune game was a hit. Everyone had fun guessing/sneaking answers from their neighbors papers and Kimberly Fitch kicked everyone's butt guessing the most song/artist names right.


There are so many cute pregnant woman in this ward and we are all within a few weeks of each other! I love this picture!


Sadie is already spoiled rotten! We are not going to need to buy her any outfits for a loooong time. I must also say that everyone has very good taste. All of the outfits were adorable. She also got fun hair bows, diapers, toys, bibs, a baby monitor, and a cover up for feeding. Thanks everyone! For more good reads go to Kim Fitch and Kimberly Belnap's blogs. P.S. Happy Graduation Devin!

Last Saturday we drove down to Logan for Brian's younger brother, Devin's graduation. He graduated in computer science from Utah State University. They have just made the big move down to Colorado Springs to work for Lockheed Martin. Way to go Devin. We are going to miss you guys!


Our nieces Anna and Madison are always a riot to hang out with...


Devin and Neesha gave us a tour of campus on Sunday, which I had never seen. We were very impressed with it's beauty and also with all of the crazy statues. I guess BYU had a crazy statue of a Indian wearing a loin clothe...what is up with that!

What A Day!

We had such a fun anniversary. Brian and I got off of work early to go out to eat at the White Water Grill/Wasabi Restaurant by the river, but didn't realize they didn't open until five. So we killed some time by walking around the river and took lotsa pictures. Here I am at 30 weeks.


The ducks were all being sprayed by the falls. It was getting a little windy out there...


Here is the lovely bouquet Brian bought for me! They really brighten up my drab office.


Being pregnant has kinda put a damper on my love for sushi! Since it was a special occasion I decided to splurge and to just find something that was cooked and not too far out there. This masterpiece is called The Crane and it was quite tasty. Pretty much everything we ordered from the Wasabi menu was divine!

After dinner we went to Wal-mart and bought the stroller we had been eyeing. I love the fabric on it! It is very bright and cheery. I think travel systems are the best!
