This is a fun little riddle to wrap your mind around. I remember getting it from a professor in college as a "brain exercise" and just came across it again. I posted my answer below the riddle (encrypted of course) so you could either solve the riddle or decrypt my answer (including my hidden message)...either way, I'll be impressed with the winner (and just so you know, the answer is not 19 minutes).
Four guys are out on a midnight hike when they come to a rope bridge spanning a fast moving river. It is very dark and seeing the bridge is impossible without the use of a flashlight, however, the four men only have one of those so it must be shared. The bridge is also very weak so the four men decide that, at most, only two people can cross at a time and they have to walk at the speed of the slowest person. The fastest person can cross in 1 minute, the second fastest can cross in 2 minutes, the third fastest can cross in 5 minutes, and the slowest can cross in 10 minutes. What is the fastest time (in minutes) that they can all cross the river in?

The day we went to the top of the Stratosphere this was going on and I thought man if only I was in shape and not on the beginning stages of getting sick... YEAH RIGHT! Who wants to do it with me next year though :)
I was determined to go on a ride while we were there so Lisa and I decided to ride X-Scream on top of the Stratosphere Hotel where we were saying. What a thrill!
Watch out... this is gonna make you want to watch Titanic.
