I was always pretty bad at Spanish in high school so someone will have to tell me if the title of this post is messed up! This picture was so hard to get because now that Sadie can roll over she is rarely on her tummy for more than a few secs. Sadie is growing up so fast and her little personality is really starting to shine through. I feel like I have been getting to know her even better by her food preferences. I never knew how much fun feeding a baby solids could be! So far her favorite foods are oatmeal and bananas, so I have been calling her my little Chiquita Banana.
Sadie just stared up at this Santa and stroked his beard for awhile. I never got the official picture with Santa that the ward took and if I would have known that I probably would have taken a few more on my own. So until I track down who is emailing those out this is as good as it gets... I love her little bare feet!
Sadie discovered her feet this last week and has not stopped playing with them. It is great for me because wherever we go she has a built in toy!
This Saturday we drove toward Island Park in search of a fuller, greener Christmas Tree than we had last year :) The weather was on our side and it made for easy tree hunting. As luck would have it, we came across a beautiful grove of perfectly sized Christmas trees. So, we did our part in helping the forest service thin the lodge pole pines by cutting one down.
Sadie was sporting her fleece jumper that I bought for her last Christmas. Little did we know how well she would stand out amongst the trees. It kept her nice and toasty during our search. I'd like to say we helped Brian look for the tree, but due to Sadie's ongoing cold we decided to "tough it out" in the car. Brian's only instructions were "fuller and greener" than last year.
When we bought the Pilot I fully intended on sitting in the front seat with Brian since there would be much more room, but that has yet to happen. Sadie and I get chauffeured around while we play and laugh in the back. Good thing we picked out a car with comfortable back seats.
I spent Thanksgiving with this crazy bunch of people! We had so much fun eating, playing games and pondering the vicissitudes of life, such as why don't the Cullen's have vampire teeth and why is Bella so annoying?
Last night I started to think how life seems too serious sometimes. It was kinda freaking me out that we seemed to be turning into this old predictable couple who has to talk about taxes and medicals bills yada yada yada ... so to turn back the hands of time to when we were in our exciting throw caution to the wind college days, we decided to hit up the 10pm showing of Twilight. It was great great fun!!! We really enjoyed it and we are super grateful that Brian's parents are willing to come watch the wee little one, even if it is until 12:30 am!
