Independence Day 2019

Fourth of July

We had a great 4th of July with Brian's family here in Idaho Falls! It was a super hot day so it was nice to pull out the slip and slide and for the kids...and a few adults to cool off.

4th of July in Utah

We decided to change it up this year and head down south for the 4th of July this year! My parent's house and landscapping is just dreamy for pictures and this was Bree's first year of getting to be apart of the sparkler action so I may have gotten a little carried away with pictures!

Noah was not a fan of it - Nanny to the rescue!  They had some nice snuggle time.

Caleb was hanging out too while his big brother was winning the mutton busting at the rodeo.  

Isaac came home with this big honkin trophy and went to the final competition the next day and won the entire thing! I love that Issac always lets me give him hugs and kisses when I come to visit. Yes, I may have to wrestle him to get them, but it is all apart of the fun!

 

My parents have had missionaries living with them for the past few years in an apartment in their outer garage and I always enjoy hanging out at my parents house and watching my Mom and Lisa take such good care of them!  They always have good stories to tell about missionary mishaps!

I couldn't ask for better sisters! They make my girls feel so loved! Bree made sure that Lisa was keeping her ears protected during the screamer fireworks. 

Sadie had just lost her second tooth the morning we left for Utah so most of the pictures I got of her was of her lip pulled down showing off the new hole in her mouth. She has two more loose teeth at the moment!

It was blazing hot our entire stay so we spent  A LOT of time in the pool.

Gray really was happier to be with me than his expression shows! This was the first trip where he started to warm up to me...yay, I'm making progress!

My brother Nick is about the sweetest brother I could ask for! I love his relationship with his wife Erica too! They are such a great example to me.

 

SEVEN PEAKS

These girls were my buddies at the water park. I used to go there quite a bit growing up for BYU camps and then I had a lot of friends from highschool who worked there so I love all the memories that flood back every time I go. Emmy was so fearless this time around, which was a huge improvement from last year where she only wanted to hang out in the kiddie pool the entire time. For my birthday, Brian bought me an underwater camera so I was able to take so many pictures and video, and not worry about my camera getting wet. 

 

so...I kind of lost Emmy for a solid ten plus minutes and after looking alllll over the place, I finally asked a lifeguard where they took lost children. I found Emmy in the First Aid station hanging out with really nice lifeguards coloring a picture. They had bandaged up her cut on her knee and she was cooling off in the AC. So although it was little bit of a scare, Emmy was well taken care of.
