Update

Wondering why you never hear from me anymore...well I don’t have a really good excuse for ya other than pregnancy is kicking my butt! Here is a VERY brief account of what we are up to though until I regain my motivation to blog.

Brian has about 95% of the molding done, and we just have to wait for cabinets to be installed and then he can put the last pieces on.

It is Brian’s spring break and he has spent the entire week busting his butt in the basement working on the glorious stage and molding... we might even get to painting this weekend! Squeal!

I am 35 weeks pregnant and HUGE, but I love that Sadie kisses my belly every time she sees me or leaves to go somewhere. She is going to be such a great big sister.

Emmy sings all day long and knows such a huge array of songs. We were just watching family videos and we have so many of her singing.

I finally decided to have this baby at Mtn. View as opposed to EIRMC which makes me a little sad because I LOVED EIRMC and my nurses so much, but I like to try new things so it will be an adventure.

We are all decorated for Easter and normally I hate all the pastel around the house, but this year we have just gone for it and I really like how cheery everything is. Sadie and I made a cute Easter crafts with eggs and branches today. I think I’ll eventually get some pictures up here...

Well I better go help Brian downstairs so tata for now.

But here are few pictures you might have already seen on my facebook site.

Spying

Sadie and Emmy are taking a bath right now and they had the shower curtain closed, but I heard a lot of chattering so I decided to go and spy on them and this is what I heard,

“I’m so pregnant, I have to grow this baby!” – Sadie

“You have to grow this baby?” – Emmy

Haha, Story of my life. I am so ready to be done “growing this baby”! Only a few more weeks right?!?

Thoughts on Dinosaurs, Paint, and Labor...

Not sure what the deal is, but lately Sadie is really afraid of dinosaurs. I explained to her that they lived a long time ago and are dead and to this she responds,
“Good thing those creepy dinosaurs are all dead and are just bones now.” So I guess now they are creepy too. I had her take some eggs back to the neighbors yesterday since we had borrowed some and she looked so scared the entire time walking over. When she got back she said she was looking out for the dinosaurs.
We were planning on going to the museum to look at the dinosaur exhibit, but I am afraid now it is just going to give her nightmares. She’s got quite the imagination.

I just picked up little sample of colors for the basement this morning. For the girls room I chose Sea Life at 3/4% which makes it more of a "sweet rhapsody color". This is a BIG step for us since the entire house is very neutral.

The main living area is going to be "Cup of Cocoa"
And then Sadie picked out "Weeping Wisteria" for the playroom under the stairs. I think I will stencil some pattern onto the purple color someday.
Now I just have to figure out the colors for the workout/playroom and my studio. Any suggestions?!? I am going to copy my friend Amber and have Brian do some cute molding like hers in the playroom so I am thinking that I can do a bright color since there will be a huge white accent wall.

On a side note I think nursery put me into early labor yesterday. It is really normal for me to have Braxton Hick contractions a few months leading up to giving birth, but I was having intense contractions all through church and then the entire night. They subsided this morning thank goodness, but I think I may just have a March or April baby if I have too many more days like that in nursery!

Happy B-day Bri!

Brian's turned 32 on Feb 12th and he got a kind of low key birthday since I was sick. He made himself a yummy mtn. man breakfast and only got an mp3 player and a "coupon" for a suit (which he will not pick out until he is someday released from nursery). He also got some sweet tools to use in the basement from his parents and mine. I wish I could have made the day a lot cooler for Brian because he totally deserved it!_DSC6082

This was about as much as he got for decorations too. I loved looking through old photos to scrounge these up. _DSC6088
The day before we went to Leo's (Brian's favorite place to get burgers). Papa and Grandma came with up and took great care of Emmy and Sadie in the arcade while we ate. IMG_20120211_133356The Monday after we picked up balloons and a treat Brian likes to take to him at work.

 We love you Brian!
