All this quarantining, multiple earthquakes, coronavirus...I keep thinking what next?!
We have been making the best of all this extra time at home though. The weather has been a typical crazy April with everything from snow to bright sunny days. A lot of windy days though so we venture out as much as we can.

Brian's very humble slightly depressing office setup in the basement. He initially wanted to set up his work space in the office off our bedroom, but that is a high traffic zone with kids and me running back and forth.
Bree is the sweetest sister and is always up for the challenge of helping Rosie. This is one of Rosie's take home preschool crafts. I feel like her preschool made way too many of these headband crafts and of course 100% of them end up in the garbage. So Rosie just started throwing them away at preschool which her teachers found pretty funny. I guess it is sad in a way too...
I saw a timehop picture of about five years ago when I had set up the blowup in the house back in Idaho Falls and it inspired me to pull it out of the shed and set it up for the girls. It provided at least a weeks worth of great playtime until the girls got bored with it and I got fed up with the clutter. I would go up stairs and there were so many blankets and toys covering it that it wasn't even usable.
Bree convinced me to buy eyelash dye since she has the blondest of eyelashes and she was right. It looked so good to darken them up and I did mine as well. I even did my eyebrows which at first looked a little Angry bird but then lightened up to look might fine if I do say so myself.
I majorly stocked up on science kits from Walmart for my birthday party present stash, but we have already broken out four different sets to keep these girls busy. They are so good at reading directions that I don't even have to do anything except sometimes I will help by washing all the little spoons and containers when they are done. Rosie looks so gosh darn cute in those goggles.
We hadn't plated Settlers of Catan in at least a decade. Not even joking and I really like that game a lot. Sadie and Emmy have played it over thirty times during the break. Out of all the games this has been by far the favorite during the quarantine.
Brian taught us how to play Risk. It was one of his favorite games growing up. Bree and I were reallllly bad at it! It probably would have looked to an outsider like I was trying to lose on purpose but honestly I just didn't understand that it probably wasn't the best idea to do so many battles a turn.
Sadie was suppose to take a picture with the book she was reading for a school online thread. Rosie was in the room and all the other students in these chats always make a big deal out of younger siblings or cute pets if they are included in the picture. Sadie has been cruuuuuiiiizzzzin through books non stop! She reads late into the night and then wakes up the next morning and will read for a few more hours. I wish I had that reading bug like hers, but I do like to have a good audiobook going on in my ear.
Oh the painting that has incurred! Emmy got pretty gung ho about painting her future room in the basement. I thought the light pink would be neutral enough that we could blow off adding another project to the list, but oh man was she right! It looks sooo much better the nice gray color we painted it. We already had a gallon of the color too so it worked out nicely. Emmy and I sang a lot of songs while painting and listening to the google. She was kept being surprised by how many current songs I knew.. Ha!
Oh the weird crafting that has ensued! We have been picking up school lunches each day and so we of course have a bunch of mini milk cartons. I told the girls they could make cute Easter houses, but instead they ended up being deathly Corona virus shanty's with dead sour patch kids lying all around. Morbid I tell ya!!
Among the zillion of emails with free programs during this quarantine was guitar and ukulele lessons! I was stocked for myself! I signed up and did about an hour and a half of lessons one night. I was SOOOO EXCITED to play my first tablature guitar song! I ran downstairs at 11:30pm and told Brian I loved this quarantine!!! The girls have done a few lesson, but mostly love playing the ukulele. Their favorite song at the moment is Lava.
Emmy was trying to get a little more alone time with me by keeping me held hostage in her room.
