Bree had a princess party for her 4th birthday! Sadie stayed up late helping me decorate the night before. Sadie got all the barbies she could, dressed them, fixed their hair and displayed them perfectly. I was so grateful because Sadie is quite artistic and I had ran out of energy by that time of night.
Brian usually takes the girls out for breakfast, but it worked better to take Bree out to lunch that day. They went to McKenzie River Pizza where they have THE BEST kid meals! I usually have to sneak a few bites of the hamburger because it is that good!
Bree helped make the best swirl cake. She had always loved helping me bake in the kitchen. This is one of her signature poses.

Bree had been quite jealous of Sadie's doll she got for Christmas so she finally got a doll of her own. And a skateboard that has now turned into a scooter because Brian added some handle bars.

It's a miracle Bree got her three-year-old birthday pictures because I remember feeling huge, pregnant and very unmotivated to take them! Brian and I thought the girls would love to play at the sand dunes so I sort of rolled her photoshoot into a family outing. I pretty much just chased Bree as best as I could snapping pictures, so there are quite a few candid shots. I ended up getting some sand in my camera and having to send it to Boise to have it repaired. A few hundred dollars later and I have now decided to never do a shoot at the dunes again!
