Bree turns 4!

Bree had a princess party for her 4th birthday! Sadie stayed up late helping me decorate the night before. Sadie got all the barbies she could, dressed them, fixed their hair and displayed them perfectly.  I was so grateful because Sadie is quite artistic and I had ran out of energy by that time of night.
Brian usually takes the girls out for breakfast, but it worked better to take Bree out to lunch that day. They went to McKenzie River Pizza where they have THE BEST kid meals! I usually have to sneak a few bites of the hamburger because it is that good!
Poor Bree had hit her mouth on the trampoline and had a nasty owie from it!
Bree helped make the best swirl cake. She had always loved helping me bake in the kitchen. This is one of her signature poses.
Bree had been quite jealous of Sadie's doll she got for Christmas so she finally got a doll of her own. And a skateboard that has now turned into a scooter because Brian added some handle bars.

Bree Memory

One of the neighbor girls was over and Bree was so mad and said, "Why did you let her in! I don't want to play right now." I told Bree that her friend could just hang out and probably just needed a change of scenery. So Bree was still being kind of mean to this girl and I thought I would have to intervene, but I am kind of lazy and it takes longer and longer for me to step in and fix the problem so I let it play out and I am so glad I did....The friend told Bree that she looked nice today. Then she said she liked Bree's pants and then she said she liked Bree's hair! And that's all it took. Three compliments and Bree was ready to play! This girl is totally a words of affirmation girl!!

Bree's 3 year old photoshoot

It's a miracle Bree got her three-year-old birthday pictures because I remember feeling huge, pregnant and very unmotivated to take them! Brian and I thought the girls would love to play at the sand dunes so I sort of rolled her photoshoot into a family outing. I pretty much just chased Bree as best as I could snapping pictures, so there are quite a few candid shots. I ended up getting some sand in my camera and having to send it to Boise to have it repaired. A few hundred dollars later and I have now decided to never do a shoot at the dunes again!

Bree turns 3 - Luau Party

I took Bree to the sand dunes for her birthday pictures....those will be coming up next.
Bree got a luau party for her third birthday and since I am the scheduler for our babysitting trade with friends I got to make sure that we were babysitting on her birthday! Built in party guest and she loves all the kids in the group so it works out perfectly!
Nothing screams Hawaiian luau party like leis for the party guests!

One of Brian's hidden talents is that he is a juggler. He is pretty dang good too for as little time as he has spent on it. I had never seen Brian juggle hula hoops!  Very exciting stuff for an easily entertained wife and a lot of kids! Go Brian!
Too much partying for the kids I guess...they needed to take a rest! I am so glad I don't have these nasty cushions anymore and that I redid the chairs and Brian painted the deck. Everything is looking much better now!
I so wish I was better at taking clear indoor pictures! I guess I need to strap my flash on my camera more often. Enjoy the blurry pic.
I don't remember too many funny stories from the day other than I told the kids we were going to have a contest to see who could eat their cake the cleanest and Carter said that wasn't going to be a good game because his little sister Ava would lose and that would make her cry. Such a sweet brother :)
Brian took Bree out to breakfast that morning.
Lucky girl got to have a two cakes one with friends and then another with Grandma and Grandpa.
I feel okay looking back at pregnant pictures now since I have lost the 50 pounds it took to grow baby Rose! But boy oh boy am I glad to not be pregnant and have this baby in our home!
What a perfect costume for our spunky lil Bree!
