Happy Easter
We went to two Easter egg hunts (including one that Brian and I got to hunt down some eggs), colored eggs, put carrots and water out for the Easter bunny, put together Easter baskets for the girls, and watched some questionable "Easter bunny" clips on youtube with Sadie before she went to bed. Can't wait for the festivities tomorrow which will include ribs, a yummy lemon pie (thanks Stewarts!) and a nice Sunday nap. It is going to be great day! Go here to see more Easter Chick pics and we hope you have a wonderful Easter!

ISU Spring Carnival
This Saturday we went to a fun spring carnival at ISU. The girls both got to pick out a free book when we first walked in and there was lunch, a fishing pond, cake walk, and so many activities that were just perfect for their ages.
This lady/clown took about ten minutes to make this cute Ariel and then another ten minutes to make a "Re - punzel" for Emmy (that is how Sadie says it) and both girls ended up biting and popping the balloon until they were completely deflated that same day. They have no respect for this ladies craft. She was amazing!
That morning I did a little photo shoot with this perfectly sweet six month old.I thought I should throw this up here since I definitely have an owl theme going on this blog right now :)

Just a Few...
Sadie said the funniest thing yesterday. She said, "Mommy, can today be Happily Ever After?" So we tried to make it a fun Saturday and took the girls swimming and to Great Harvest for their favorite treat, bread and butter.
One night when Emmy went to bed early, Sadie got her crafting craving again and said, "Daddy, lets make something special!" So Brian whipped out some blocks and him and Sadie painted them. Cute Daddy/Daughter time.

This is Emmy's first hairdo. She knows when she is pretty and puts her hands back and walks around so proud of herself.
My friend made my girls the cutest Easter dresses and matching bows. I figured I better get my usage out of them and they wore them to church today. What a pair of cuties. This picture was taken in the nursery where we all hang out now as a family since I was just called to be the nursery leader and Brian is a nursery worker. We came home today a little beat. Nursery is A LOT of work :)
Fun times in Utah
The girls and I took a little trip to Utah and I got to go to the last session of conference with my sister, brother and their spouses. We were smack dab in the middle of the conference center and totally forgot our binoculars because we wanted to spot our Mom in the MoTab. We eventually founds her but pretty much had to watch the TV screens the entire time to get a glimpse of what was going on.
Sadie and Emmy were rocking out while my Dad was practicing his bagpipes. I got some fun videos of that which may make it up here someday.
Sadie and I had a fun Mommy Daughter date. We first went and visited my cool friend that I grew up with in Oregon. Then we watched Lisa in play that may have been a little too scary for Sadie. We went out to eat at Rubios and I was so impressed with how fast she ate her fish taco. Then we did a little shopping which Sadie is all about. She picked out some hair clips and a necklace.
Lisa and I chillaxin.
Sister's Night in SLC. We went to a store called Home Goods and spent a lot of time shopping but didn't end up with much for all the time spent. We first got dessert at a yummy Hawaiian ice cream shop and then went to dinner at a fancy smancy restaurant called Mazza.
Emmy rode this train round and round and we could tell that she felt so very important and always had such a serious face. Riding Thomas is serious business ;)
Sadie and Caleb aka one of "the brothers" as she likes to call her cousins watching some wacky show at my sisters house.
On our drive home we took a nice break and visited with our good friends Sharee, Dave and Ryker. Sharee took us to a yummy candy store so I had some great chocolate munchies on the way home.
Fun times as always!
Swimming Lessons
Sadie just finished up her swimming lessons and had such a fun time with it all.
She only had three kids in her class. It was nice that she got so much one-on-one attention. She was the youngest one and wasn't the best listener at all times, but I think it was overall a great experience for her because she would talk about all the things she learned and how much fun she had. Next up, I am debating signing her up for tumbling. It is cheap and only once a week compared to the twice a week swim lessons. I think we could handle that.
