I just love this imitation stage... Sadie is probably thinking her mom is crazy to jab things in her eye each morning!

Festival of Trees

We completely spaced going to the Festival of Trees last year since who really thinks about this stuff in November, so we made it a point to mark the calendar and go this year. What a wild and crazy place to ever choose to go to. It was so packed in there (due to really cute uncoordinated three to four year old girls attempting to dance). We couldn't even see half the trees because the crowd was so big. We may have to take Sadie back during Brian's lunch hour. She had to touch everything though which obviously is getting me a little nervous for when we bring in the real tree. She saw Santa out of the corner of her eye and wanted nothing to do with him, but she knows a little about him and what he says...

BeWitched
A few weeks ago we visited my family in Utah and saw the witches at Gardner Village with my sisters. Sadie wanted to show off her counting skills in this video. She laughs at herself every time she watches it (and counts along too). My favorite part is at the end when she touches the plant and does a strange laugh.

Halloween ... Does It Get Any Better?!?
We had such a great Halloween holiday! Saying Sadie loved trick-or-treating would be an understatement. She thought it was the coolest thing that everyone kept giving her "num nums." She must have dumped her candy out and stuck it back in the bag a dozen times (with about as much excitement every time).

Sadie thoroughly enjoyed every bite of her chocolate. I have taught her well!

Sadie helped carve pumpkins this year. She would put her hands in the pumpkin grab a handful of seeds and goop and then shake her hands to get it all off. I have been scrapping dried up pumpkin remnants off the floor since :)

These two hard at work. Brian wins the award for BEST HUSBAND for scooping the goop out of all three pumpkins. That is by far my least favorite part.

Leading Up to Halloween
It was a big night for Brian and I... we actually had to hire a babysitter (we are so spoiled with Grandparents around). So I had one of the YW in my ward come over and she said Sadie made her earn her money by reading books to her for two hours! Nice work Sadie :)

We enjoyed going to a Halloween party at our neighbors house where we were the runner-ups in a gum chewing contest. We rock! I was a princess and we are still trying to figure out what Brian was.

Sadie really liked this Jamaican wig we have. I turned on the song "One Love" by Bob Marley and she just danced and danced until she got dizzy and fell over. We have been watching too much "So You Think You Can Dance" so Sadie has got some wicked dance skills.
