Daddy Daughter Night

Last night while I was doing this...

Brian and Sadie were doing this....

Doesn't she look like a little miniature Harry Potter?

Show Off

Sadie has got a few announcements to make...

1. She wants to give a big shout out to her Brenanny and Gong and say I miss you!
2. She also says she can sit up so very well.
3. And last but not least, she has discovered she is a singer and is starting a rock band (just typical everyday baby stuff).

So cute huh! Everyone has got to go to this site and make your free Valentine Day cards before February 1st!

Sadie was sucking on her lower lip today and making funny faces. Well, come to find out she has got her third tooth coming in!

Also I never updated Sadie's six month stats...

Weight: 15.85lbs. (38%)
Length: 27" (89%)
Head: 17.5" (93%)

Happy 6 Months!

To celebrate the last sixth months of Sadie's life, we upgraded her to size 3 in diapers, we bought her a ton of level 2 solid foods and some plastic bibs, we bought her some socks that actually fit her (kinda large) feet and I went through her closet and threw everything that didn't fit her into a pile. Sadie also sat up for quite awhile (okay really only a few seconds, but it was exciting none-the-less). All of these things are a constant reminder to me that my little girl is growing up WAY TOO FAST!

Happy New Year!

What a year it has been! Obviously the addition of Sadie being the highlight! She is such a delight and I feel really lucky to be her mother. I also feel very blessed to have such a wonderful husband. I have been reflecting on how much life has changed in the past few months and it makes me really grateful to know that I can be with my little family forever.

I have finally finished playing around and editing pictures so have fun paroosing...

New Years Eve

We got back to Idaho just in time to celebrate New Years with Brian's parents. We watched The Hulk, played Apple's to Apple's and ate ourselves silly. Isn't this time of year great?!

Temple Square

We decided to load the babies up and go see the lights at Temple Square. Sadie did not appreciate being in the cold so we mostly hung out in the Joseph Smith building and the visitor's center and I glad we did because I ran into my friend Marci Allen from BYU-Hawaii!

Sadie has three very cute cousins that kept her entertained all week.

Parties with Cousins

While we were in Utah we had two Christmas parties with my dad's cousins and my cousins from his side and my cousins from my moms side. I have got the coolest extended family!

Christmas in Utah

The day after Christmas we drove to Utah to hang out with my family and celebrate Christmas all over again! It's becoming tradition to sing Christmas in Killarney, Bring a Torch Jeanette Isabella and Mele Kalikimaka. We are keeping those songs alive because I don't think any one else out there sings them anymore... I may be wrong though :)

Drive to Utah

Sadie keeps me entertained!

Christmas Day

I had sort of hoped to sleep in until at least 8am, but Sadie must have felt the excitement in the air because she was wide awake at 6am. I thought Sadie and I could start getting breakfast ready while Brian slept a little, but after about five minutes he was up too so we decided to dive into presents. Sadie got some headbands, books, shoes and a vibrating teether. Brian got a video game called FaceBreaker and we both can't stop playing it. It's a little addicting... he also got some Jazz shirts, a razor, and some decor for his office. I got a temple dress, cooking gear, and a gift certificate for Roberts. It was fun to see Sadie get really excited whenever we handed her a present. She really just wanted to suck on everything and has one little tooth that is popping through.

After shoveling our driveway for over an hour it was time to head over to Brian's parents house. We had a delicious turkey dinner and Sadie got a lot of love and affection from her Grandma, Papa and Aunt Nikki.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to Barnes and Nobles in search of The Night Before Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We never did end up finding them, but it was still fun to be out amidst the last minute shoppers. Once it got dark we drove to Ammon to watch the choreographed lights and we must say the Belnap's uncle's house takes the cake. There were so many light it was almost hard to watch! Once Sadie knocked off Brian and I watched Deck the Halls with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is a really fun over the top movie!

Chistmas Concert

Brian's mom sings in The Choraliers here in Idaho Falls and I really love going to their concerts because they always sing fun upbeat songs and have choreography! This was Sadie's first concert and during a really quiet moment she let out a huge belch which made all the people around us laugh and say oohhh... Actually pretty much everything she did caused that reaction. I must have one darn cute baby!

Sunday Before Christmas

Brian and I gave talks in church the week before so it was so nice to be back in the congregation this week! Here are some pictures of my Primary Class. I started teaching the older girls once Sadie was born and we have a blast. It has been really good for me to get to know some potential babysitters in the ward!

Girls Night

My friend threw a Oprah favorite things style Christmas party. It was fun to see what everyone brought and to hang out with the girls. I don't even think I have seen anyone since that party. I miss you girls! While I was out, Brian and Sadie had a fun/messy time at home.
