Birthday #3!

Sadie woke up super excited and happy to be the birthday girl. She is very into pink, purple, and princesses so that was her theme this year.

Brian decided he wanted to start a tradition of taking the birthday girl out to breakfast, so Sadie and him went and had a fun breakfast at McDonalds. I am sure as she gets older she may want to go to a more restaurant type setting, but for a three year old, McDonalds was perfect and it gave me some time to set up for her party!

This year I decided to have her party on the same day as her birthday and it worked out perfectly. We pulled out the pool and jumpy toy and had a nice outdoor party.

That night Papa and Grandma came over and we had a party with her presents and the cake. Her big gift was a scooter and Emmy has  decided it is hers and brings it to me so I can wheel her around on it while she exclaims “weee”. Sadie’s favorite part about it is the bell. She also loved the dress up outfits both of her Grandma’s have picked out and wears them all the time. Her friend gave her the cutest purse too with a bunch of dress up accessories  that couldn’t have made her happier.

That night we stayed up late and lite off some fireworks.

All we have left is to take Sadie out on her three-year-old photo shoot. I have a feeling it is going to go a lot better than last year. Sadie miraculously has started looking at the camera and smiling when we take pictures. It is awesome!
